The
twin Humburger brothers were born in 1979 and began
playing piano duos early on. They are in the meantime
regular guests at many well-known concert halls and
festivals within Europe. Richard and Valentin Humburger
both finished their musical education with Ulrich Meining.
Since 2001 they have been studying in the class of
Ok-Hi Lee and Prof. Rudolf Meister at the The Mannheim
University of Music and Performing Arts. They broadened
their education by taking master classes in particular
with specialists of piano duos such as, Alfons Kontarsky,
György Kurtag, Begona Uriarte and Karl-Hermann
Mrongovius, Yaara Tal and Andreas Groethuysen, as well
as Hans-Peter and Volker Stenzl.

in the Czech Republic and of the “Torneo Internazionale di Musica”,
